History, concepts and principles of physical science, energy and matter, importance of energy resources and energy crisis, atom, nuclear and nanotechnology, water management, gas and oil drilling, air pollution, satellite communication, geo-informatics and development,  chemistry in everyday life, chemistry and advancement of science, impacts of science and technology  on environment, economics, society and future of mankind.

A student has to perform academic or professional work as a full-time temporary employee in his field of study in a workplace for a one-trimester long period required by the division. Once the work period has been completed, a student has to submit an academic report as well as present the results of his work to the division’s instructors for satisfied/unsatisfied evaluation. Evaluation bases on the result of instructor’s evaluation, appraisal of student’s performance from the assigned supervisor of the workplace and submitted report.

Importance of human factor, human errors, Murphy’s law, human physical limitations, data processing and cognition, social psychology, responsibility, pressure and stimulation, factors affecting the readiness, health, amount the  rest, amount of work and coordination, accident, types of error in maintenance, avoidance of hazards and error correction.

Students get acquainted with technical terms and vocabularies related to aviation industry: professions, civil aviation authorities, documents, types of aircraft, components of aircraft and equipment, overview of aircraft systems, and related operations in the aviation industry.
