The Communication Maintenance (CM) course was the program which has been operated since CATC was established in 1961. the course enable participants to acquire sufficient knowledge of radio and electronics principles, manual dexterity, diagnostics and maintenance capabilities with will allow them to maintain various types of avionic system. Later in 2011, the Aircraft Technology : Avionics (AT-AE) course was issued to replace the CM course in order to enhance training efficiency and provide industry recognised qualification for avionic specialisations doe to a change in aircraft technology and industry circumstances.
